On June 24, 2019, Olive announced that they were making their existing digital healthcare employee more effective by adding a conversational AI made by another company, Clinc. The digital healthcare employee was previously relegated to back-office work with repetitive, error-prone tasks. The addition of conversational AI means that the digital healthcare employee will be able to interact with patients through call centers and be capable of full automation for some processes. The combination of these two technologies has the potential to significantly decrease the time and money spent on administration in the healthcare industry.
