ATHIKA project presented at SICSA DemoFest in Edinburgh
On 4th of November 2019, Dr Stamos Katsigiannis of the School of Computing, Engineering and Physical Sciences of the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) attended SICSA DemoFest 2019 in Edinburgh, UK, to present on the ATHIKA Erasmus+ European project which got underway on 2019. The Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance (SICSA) is a collaboration of 14 Scottish Universities that promotes international excellence in University-led research, education, and knowledge exchange for Scottish Informatics and Computer Science.
SICSA DemoFest, now in its 12th year, is the largest event of its kind in Scotland, aiming at showcasing the very best of Informatics and Computing Science research from all of Scotland’s Universities. This year, Dr Stamos Katsigiannis had the opportunity to present the ATHIKA project to representatives of the local government, to public and private organizations of various sectors, as well as to students and researchers from other Scottish Universities.
